Each month we support a local cause or charity. This month we're supporting ElderDog Fredericton. ElderDog’s purposes are to assist and support older adults in the care and well-being of their canine companions; promote the welfare of older dogs whose lives have been disrupted due to illness, relocation, or death of a human companion; educate about the human-animal bond in general and the significant role of companion animals in the health and well-being of seniors; and support and conduct research into the human-animal bond with a focus on seniors and canine companionship.
Greater Fredericton Area Market Stats
- 254 total units were sold in March (214 Residential Single), vs 318 (267) for March 2021.
- Average Prices continue to rise year-over-year, with the average sold price for all units at $350,655 ($347,500 median), a 24.8% (30.9% median) increase over March 2021.
- List to sell ratio is high, with an average unit selling at 111.5% of list price(110.6% single residential), spurred on by competitive offers on fewer listings.
- Months of inventory are at an all-time low, currently sitting at 1.1, compared to 1.5 in March 2021. This continues to signify a sellers market.
- Median Days on Market sits at 12 vs. 14 for March 2021, meaning homes continue to sell extremely quickly on average.
