Welcome! Thank-you for taking a moment to look at who I am and how I can help you.
I’ve lived in Fredericton for many of the last 46 years. I attended both St. Thomas and the University of New Brunswick; grew up in a Navy family and married into the Army (husband now retired, 8th Hussars).
14 years of Real Estate transactions in the Fredericton market has provided me with the experience to address just about any issue in this complex business area. Residential, Commercial, Land, Farms……..wide reaching parameters of real estate needs.
Real Estate has become more and more complex as we try to clarify and protect the rights and obligations of Buyers and Sellers. We do have a lot of paperwork but we know what should be on it, so don’t worry. I’ll explain it so you’re comfortable with everything that you sign.
The industry has seen increasing concerns re asbestos, contaminated water, the need to ensure that septic systems are provincially approved, mold, grow houses, radon gas, etc. etc.
The days of sealing a deal with a handshake are unfortunately not our reality now. Sometimes it takes the combined work of your realtor, and your lawyer, to ensure that your equity and your sanity, is protected!
I have been fortunate to receive performance awards over the years (thanks to incredible clients), and have taken ongoing training every year to ensure that I’m up to date on any emerging issues or legislation that might impact your transaction.
I have a history of new business development, healthcare, and employee/management training.
My perspective is to be the best I can be; to ensure that you have the realtor that you deserve!
I enjoy working with first time home buyers and am happy to teach you all the facets of home purchase, so you can feel confident moving ahead with an offer once you’ve found the perfect home.
The word, ‘SOLD!’, is truly a joy to say to you!
Re experience, there are several areas that I have additional expertise in.
I’m ‘horsey’ and have had horses of my own for many, many years. Currently I’m down to a geriatric opinionated mare! My showing days are over…
If you’re looking for a hobby farm (for any type of creature), working/boarding stable, breeding facility or a combination of these, I’d be delighted to share my expertise.
We have an older sailboat and whenever the opportunity presents I set sail on the beautiful St. John River, or crew during races on Grand Lake. Let’s look at waterfront property! I know this river and lakes well.
I believe in community involvement and been very involved in fundraising for the SPCA and CARMA for many years. I have assisted in almost every spay and neuter clinic CARMA has held since it’s inception – almost 6,000 feral cats ago!
Corporately, EXIT believes in Habitat for Humanity. We see many sad realities in real estate. In fact, most of us in Canada have seen the suffering of the homeless. Surely everyone deserves a roof over their head!
So if you’re ready to buy or sell, and we’re not having a large snowstorm, now is the time.
Give me a shout and we’ll get started!
